In his last book, “Where Do We Go From Here?,” the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., analyzes the civil rights movement up to 1967–analyzes and critiques and points a way into the future: for example, the need for “people tied together in a long-term relationship rather than evanescent enthusiasts…”. For those who desire change, the cycle of crisis/adrenalin/let-down, crisis/adrenalin/let-down is a seductive trap. The real work is in the building of relationships.
